Extreme Ghetorix -part 3

Posted: December 24, 2014 in Circle, Painting and Modelling

I’ve been working on the Ghetorix’s face, armour and axe this week. I’m fairly happy with the results. I have to say I’m a bit rusty at the moment but there are signs of a decent paint job emerging.

I’ve continued to be ambitious with the coloured shadowing. This is most apparent on the axe head where I’ve used Goblin Green, Ultra Marines Blue, P3 Brown Ink and Windsor and Newton Apple Green to build up depth and interest.
I need to bite the bullet soon and finish blending the torso and limbs. Not looking forward to the large and fairly flat areas which will make or break this paint job.
